Our TVLicenceOnline service
TVLicenceOnline is an independent intermediary service that makes handling your UK TV Licence straightforward and stress-free. For processing your request we require a one time service fee of £19.95. We are not affiliated with TV Licensing or the BBC. It is possible to obtain the same services for free or at a lower cost from the UK Government or the relevant official body.
The following requests can be submitted through our portal:
Apply for a new TV Licence
Set up a new TV Licence using Direct Debit as the payment method. Please note that we are unable to set up a licence to be paid in full upfront. If you prefer to pay the full licence fee in one payment, you must arrange this directly with the TV Licensing authority.
Renew your TV Licence
Once you have set up your TV Licence with Direct Debit, it will be renewed automatically by the TV Licensing authority, and no further action is required. If you have paid your licence in full, you will need to manually renew it each year by acquiring a new licence. We can assist by setting up your licence via Direct Debit to ensure automatic renewal in future.
Update your TV Licence
It is possible to update your licence details through our online portal. This may include changes to your address, name, email address, banking details, and other personal information.
Cancel your licence or request a refund (if eligible)
You can cancel your licence through our service. If you have paid for a full licence, you may be eligible for a refund for any unused months. Eligible refunds are issued automatically by the TV Licensing authority. Please note: for certain types of cancellations, you may be required to contact the TV Licensing authority directly by phone. Where this applies, it will be clearly stated on our website, and we will not process those specific cancellation requests.
Declare that no licence is needed
If you do not watch or record live TV or use BBC iPlayer, you must submit a ‘No Licence Needed’ declaration. We can submit this declaration on your behalf through our service.
Apply for a free licence if you are 75 or over
If you are 75 years of age or older and receive Pension Credit, you may be entitled to a free TV Licence. Through our portal, we can assist you in submitting the necessary application and documentation to the TV Licensing authority to obtain your free licence. Please note: for certain types of licences, you may be required to contact the TV Licensing authority directly by phone. Where this applies, it will be clearly stated on our website, and we will not process those specific requests.
Important: We are an independent intermediary service that processes requests on behalf of our customers.
